Many groups, as well as the United Healthcare, are expressing their interests regarding the developing nursing predicament (Safavi, 2006). A lot of the stakeholders that are within the health care system, particularly Federal and State governments, nurse associations and accreditation organizations, are conscious of the lack of qualified nursing staff and connected difficulties and are vigorously looking for solutions (Safavi, 2006). Part of United Healthcare strategy is using the, Nurse Reinvestment Act, which Congress passed which has put into effect numerous actions to recover the recruitment and retaining of nurses.

Strategic Plan for Resource Management

Within a lot of health care systems universal, increased consideration is being concentrated on human resources management (HRM). Precisely, human resources in United Healthcare have principle health system inputs, with the other two main inputs which are physical capital and consumables (Quinn, 2009). United Healthcare strategic plan is to be able to attract and retain a capable and illustrative workforce with that will possess the suitable skills that will be able to meet their business needs at all levels of the organization will be extremely fundamental to the sustainability of correctional outcomes today and also down the road. They will also use different activities in their strategic plan. When HRM activities, are mentioned they tend to highlight on what the HR office, itself, is doing even though they do identify that supervisors would tolerate the accountability of HR choices in an ultimate world (Quinn). Furthermore, the HR staff would be capable of devoting more time to wider organizational subjects, in that way refining its influence to mission achievement.

Strategy for Patient Satisfaction

For United Health care one strategy that they talk about using are the surveys to get a feel regarding patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction surveys are a good strategy for the organization because they will be able to permit organizational leaders to have some strong understandings into the inner workings of their healthcare setting (Safavi 2006). The United Health in the near future will become a prime example of a multidisciplinary institution that will be able to encounter issues connected to patient satisfaction, and positively speak to them through a real-time valuation of patient and staff satisfaction for a concentrated and well-organized development procedure.
