[EXCERPT] . . . .
ConclusionEvidence from primary and secondary sources help provide ample evidence that the thesis of this paper is valid; it opens the door to the larger significance of the thesis for this paper. A reader familiar with the august writings and assertions of great philosophers like Aristotle may not be familiar with Aristotle's views on slavery. It is good to reach out and learn more about a giant like Aristotle. But moreover, it is instructive to be informed about Ancient Greece. Notwithstanding all the glory bestowed on this great civilization -- the philosophers, the democratic strategies that were founded -- there are dark patterns in the Ancient Greek tapestry as well, and slavery was surely one of those patterns.
