McAlister, Perry, Parcel. (2008) identify SCT (social cognitive theory) is the best theory to explain human behavior. A basic premise is that people learn through observing the actions of others. Thus, the SCT can be used to modify behaviors by establishing goals and provide rewards when achieving the target goals. The SCT can be used to promote health behaviors of teen mothers. In essence, the organization can use the theory to change the lifestyle of teen mother through early intervention. The Program Coordinator can also use the evidence-based theory to enhance the positive behavior of co-social worker in order to achieve the target program objectives.

Conclusion

The paper carries out the skill inventory for the new position of the Program Coordinator. The paper identifies the Social Worker II as one of the best workers to fill the new position. The selection of the Social Worker II is based on his accumulated working experience coupled with the education requirements. The benefit of using the current staff is that it will lower the costs of training of the new Program Coordinator. However, the new worker still needs to undergo further training to carry out the job effectively.
