t, quality and efficient care provision with love and understanding of patients. These are qualitites which the management must communicate to its employees for the maintenance of required standards of conduct for serving patients with respect. It is important informing, training, and educating employees about recommended procedures. Employees must understand their responsibility of practicing ethically in their service provision following requirements like maintenance of patient privacy, compliance and ethical practice (Rahman & de Feis, 2009). Every healthcare provider must ensure consistency with compliance program and ethical standards of operation by maintaining its financial documents, patient records and keeping a personal contact with every operation within the hospital. Subsequently, the Schneck will be observing ethical standards by ensuring that all its partners and suppliers have a legal contract of operation for it to ensure an ethical environment of practice (Cribb, 2005).

6. Discuss the challenges presented in health care organizations today concerning collecting, sharing, and protecting patient information.

Several challenges manifest in today's health care system particularly pertaining to collection, sharing and providing protection to information belonging to patients. The healthcare providers automate their health records, clinical systems, and therapeutic imaging. The privacy of patient information alongside securing IT infrastructures has increasingly become a challenging process (Northouse, 2006). Consequently, instances of inappropriate access to patient information have been on the rise coupled with inability to access information. Collecting patient's personal information has proven to be a major challenge that many healthcare providers are yet to overcome. The challenge regarding collection of personal information of the patient comes alongside other minor problems that must also be tackled equally. The initial questions include determining the nature of the data that is collected, reasons for collecting them, storage means, the kind of people who have access to such information, supervision of the data, and determining the individual or group that has the mandate of making changes to the data (Northouse, 2006).

Copying of the documents is also another conspicuous challenge that different healthcare providers and healthcare facilities have faced amidst attempts to collect, share and provide protection to particular information regarding the patient. According to the healthcare organizations, the risk of someone stealing or even using the information for unrecognized purpose or unauthorized reason following sending or making of a copy of a document. Hence, the recommended best practice should be sharing information only when the document is required. Sending of personal data has also proven to a fundamental challenge that healthcare providers must tackle.

Although business practices recommend that information regarding the patient can only be sent via e-mail, courier, regular mail, or fax, there is high chance the information transmitted through those channels maybe exposed to theft or disclosure to unauthorized person. Similarly, storage and destruction still presents another challenge with disposal and storage being another major access point for the identity thieves (Northouse, 2006). The fundamental question that healthcare providers and organizations should address is the security of the areas of storage as well as managing those individuals or groups that have got access to the storage areas.

7. Discuss what you learnt about effective communication in this program that you used to improve your ability to persuade, manage conflict, and share information.

Effective communication helps avoid conflict and give valid solutions to problems. By communicating effectively, the speaker gets the opportunity not only being heard but also to boost people's attention in a bid to understand him (Fielding & Fielding, 2006). In the process, it enables the individual become much more successful. In attempt to enhancing an individual's communication, it is important that the speaker use open body language. This entails standing with an open stance, sitting at the edge of the seat and maintaining eye contact with the audience. Body language may also emphasize the verbal language, which includes patting a friend on the back following his or her success in a discipline or activity (Fielding & Fielding, 2006). Similarly, the speaker should also exercise observation of those in public places, which includes shopping malls, train, bus, restaurant, cafe or even a television chat show. The speaker should also acknowledge the individual differences among people from different countries and diverse culture. In essence, the religion, culture, gender, emotional state and age should be a matter of concern when reading body language.

Other measures that are taken to improve communication skills include taking some moment to calm down, looking for humor in the situation, willingness to compromise and agreeing only to disagree. Although an effective communication is a learned skill, spontaneous rather than formulaic speech has great impact hence more effective way of persuading, managing conflict, and sharing information (Fielding & Fielding, 2006).
