Public health issues like this should be covered by public funding for the prevention of disease, through organizations like the CDC (2013). However, the health care organizations and health care workers will need to know which organizations to contact. Tackling this problem is not a matter for just one person. The health educator needs to work with a team of individuals and organizations for the prevention and control of the problem.Rabies is a matter of public health. In this scenario, a health educator has been assigned to lead and increase awareness of rabies in terms of prevention and intervention. The health educator is part of a global team, comprised of local, state, federal, and international public health organizations. Which specific organizations will be participating in this community's concerns depends on the jurisdiction of those organizations and the location of the community. Regardless of whether the CDC, WHO, or other groups are involved, the key is to create teams that collaborate and cooperate. Health care workers including veterinarians are integral to the success of the public health awareness campaign. Through health care workers, individuals will find access to the prophylactic and vaccination interventions they and their pets or livestock animals need. Information dissemination requires funding from health organizations, and the health educator's salary is also ensured by organizations committed to promoting public and community health.
