The subject of low productivity could improve when the employee's low morale increases. Workers ought to recognize that their work is appreciated. They wish to possess a sense of belonging and feel that they are respected by both the management and their colleagues. The most appropriate action is to make individuals feel that they are a worthy and valuable member of the team.

This would improve the relationship between the employees and their employer, which in turn, would enhance the overall productivity. Eventually, the company would be able to compete in a better way in the market with the support of the top management, and strong bonds between the superiors and the subordinates.

Connect

Workers ought to feel that there exists some form of connection amidst themselves, and between them and the management. They need to feel that they have shared purposes and objectives. They also need to recognize that management knows who they are and what their job entails, in addition to being available to assist them when need be. The management also needs to spend time with the workers, as another way of creating a connection with them. The organization should, if possible, work together with them (Grier, 2011).

Recognize

Workers need acknowledgement that their work has meaning and that it is valued. Never neglect the chance to acknowledge when an individual has done a good job. Even a simple "Thank you" when a worker accomplishes a certain task shall assist in seeing that their work is valued. Recognition ought to be honest in order to do any good. Prizes and public recognition of work are brilliant means of recognizing the hard work of the organization's workers (Grier, 2011).

Challenge the Employees

The hard work of conducting the same thing daily can make a good worker experience low morale with time. While the worker might be occupying an essential position in the work that they do, they most likely shall appreciate a new challenge. This would help the company to get back their position in the market by enhancing productivity.

Deal With the Bad Apples

Morale could be easily and rapidly drained by the under-performing workers. The organization ought to always take instant action to address such matters before they develop into greater ones. For this, formation of relationships with workers, encouraging them, recognition of their work and appreciating them in public are the major ways of solving low the morale problem and hence low productivity.

In comparison to workers that are motivated, disengaged employees are less effective, cost their employers lots of money in reduced productivity, and miss more of the working days. Maintaining the worker's morale high is among the major things that the organization could do so as to inspire loyalty, and sustain a productive working environment (Go2hr, 2015). The workers shall have no issues with the working hours, and better relationships amidst employees and their employers shall develop. The workers shall feel satisfied with each other as well as their job security in the organization. There would also be an opinion regarding safety and the welfare measures offered by this organization. Finally, the staff's opinions and contributions ought to be appreciated and valued (Tiwari, 2014).
