Moreover, there are few governmental restrictions and regulations based on how aftermarket products are transferred and sold between countries. The implications of these facts are that there is a burgeoning market -- the aftermarket -- for textiles that enables international business and those who practice it much more room to maneuver and, perhaps, profit. Such information is likely of extreme value to those who are engaged in the textile industry. In closing, Rivoli's work is more than an overview of globalization for the international business community. "T-SHIRT ESSAY (5-7 pages, double-spaced, Times-Roman, 12 point, 1-inch margins)
This is a personal, critical review essay. Imagine you are writing a review of the book for the NYTimes or the Wall St. Journal. You can take many approaches:
For instance (suggestions only!): * what somebody interested in international business might learn from the book * how the themes of the book reinforce or challenge conventional thinking about international business * what the book has to say about the application of technology in IB * how the book might challenge or reinforce some of the IB themes we have covered in class and in our textbook. (Here, you might take a chapter of our text, and see how the book responds to the themes of that chapter)
What I am interested in is critical originality and thought. “Critical thinking” has many definitions, but we can boil it down to accurate exposition of the points you are trying to make, analysis of those points, synthesis of those points in a summation of your analysis, and evaluation of that synthesis. And please remember that “college-level writing” is expected. Clear writing and good mechanics count."
