[EXCERPT] . . . .
What is the reason behind X6's hype with its 2015/2016 release? X6 is a clear example of high performance keeping its cost constant which resonates with customers (Module 1-SLP). X6 has been the trump card of the corporation as it rivaled X5 back in 2011 and sales peaked in 2014. The unit margin has become twice from $66.75 in 2013 to $133.61 in the year 2014. The number of units sold from 2013-2014 was 230,000. It has spiked the sales records for the company. In 2014, market saturation was around 63%, hence room for further growth still exists in 2015 (Module 1-SLP). Hence, the R&D facilities and budgets will be cut off from underperforming X5 as well as X7 and allocated in X6 for 2015 and 2016 respectively.X5 performed moderately from 2011-2015 (Module 1-SLP). Ultimately, it reached a market saturation of 75% and dropped in unit margin from $96.35 to $90.25 in 2013-2014. Lastly, a 294,445 sales drop was a clear indicator that it had reached the end of its sales run with respect to profit (Module 1-SLP). X7 was the top underperformer of the three and generates negligible profit. Hence, the present R&D has been shifted to X6 from X5 and X7.
Business strategy:
1: The production of X5 and X7 models will be withdrawn
2: Different venues will be explored in case of X6
3: Implementation of CVP strategy will be facilitated
4: Goals for 2016 will be structured
CVP Calculations:
It's time once again to take a decision regarding the pricing, R&D allocation and withdrawal of products necessary (Module 2-SLP). The strategy for New Year sa

According to CVP analysis, the following results were observed. The X6 will have to make a move with respect to its price and sold at $530 / unit for the company to generate more sales whilst attempting to generate a bigger fan base which will increase the consumers to 4,311,667, hence the market saturation will be greater in comparison to yesteryears (Module 2-SLP).
The performance of the product is assumed to be at 2.29. The net profits for the next year are assumed greater than $918,020,206, entailing the net costs that will rise, price variations of $600,105,945, fixed costs of $57,500 and lastly R&D costs of $9,260,000. Hence the net income is set to be $285,254,260 which translates to 31% profitability (Burke & Litwin, 2011). In the end, X7 tablet consumers aren't concerned with price and performance, but the product has been in the market since last year.
The cost-volume-profit analysis is based on the point that it can help in establishing the correct selections on 3 product varieties since 2006 (Module 2-SLP). It is clear that the analysis has been done disregarding the start and end of each year's product phases of presentation. Volume cost is used in multiple methods for decision making (Module 2-SLP). For instance, it can be used in calculating the breakeven point apart from merchandise sold which would assist in producing profits. In this case conversely, one issue is the undertaking of performance of manufactured goods for which a certain Mr. Joe Schmoe is responsible (Module 2-SLP). The primary purpose of this business strategy is to exceed the desired net figure. The profit forecast needs to exceed the $975,900,241 barrier achieved back in 2011-2013 (Module 2-SLP).Applying this business strategy will yield better results.
