The security generalist will be in charge of access control, give executive residential security, monitor the CCTV systems, protect the company classified information and report as well as follow up the maintenance issues for the facility (Ford, 2015d).

The job that I would prefer above is the HR coordinator slot since this is the position that will not only present me with internal chances to deal with diverse people and cultures within the U.S., but also present me with international challenges during the assignments that are stationed in other continents as indicated in the responsibilities. It is also a means of stretching my creativity in dealing with the ever changing HR systems across different states and different nations, with the chance to interact with managers and administrators of varied education and experience, as well as from different competitors as I carry out my tasks.

In order for Ford to have a competitive advantage, the company needs to first ensure that the human resource base is significantly trained to imbibe the organizational stargazes and are aware of the prevailing market competition and trends. The company then needs to give the relevant global exposure to their members of staff who can come back and train the other employees on these exposures and global trends. The various departments also need to be significantly equipped with the latest technology that will enable them to carry out their activities with ease and efficiency as they access information and data at a global level within a short time. Since companies of late work as communities even with their global coverage, Ford needs to fully embrace this through installation of communication

pathways that will integrate the company and enable the staff to not only have the regular videoconferences with their leading executives, but also have prompt answer's to their questions and easier interaction in order to get ahead of their competition.

Increasing diversity in the company

There are three major ways that the HR can help increase diversity within the organization; first the HR department needs to look at the composition of the organization and gauge if it looks like the community it is situated in, if not, then they can consult the local churches, groups, community connections and colleges in order to have a balanced approach to recruiting a staff that is well balanced and diverse.

The second means of ensuring diversity in the company is to use the current employees that have been recruited through the community organizations and groups to give referrals of people they deem suitable to work within the organization. This will give the HR a well balanced mix of talents and cultures that will ensure the company not only performs but also represents the community within which it is based. The job advertisements should also be made in such a manner that they are compelling to job seekers and include the details that attract a more diverse applicants pool. This will be achieved through cultural sensitivity and description of what makes the organization the better option for candidates (The Wall Street Journal, 2015).
