[EXCERPT] . . . .

As a result of the pain caused by the blood he kills himself. Similar is the case with Jason who cheated on his wife Medea because he got bored of her and she in her anger killed Glauce (the lady that Jason had the affair with) and her two sons. But Jason's act of weakness doesn't end here. He got so obsessed with the prediction that was made by Medea that he would not leave the side of his boat. Had he not become so obsessed with Argo and continued on with his life the beam probably wouldn't have fallen on him and he wouldn't have died.

Both heroes, as is normally the case with most historical figures or heroes, were a product of struggle in their early lives. Both of them, while being of the royal blood, had to face hardships and adversities and had to rely on their will and the help of a few selected companions to not only overcome these adversities but also to learn and grow from them. eeds. But at the same time these heroes have been shown to have certain weaknesses which I believe are there to remind the people that at the end of the day these heroes are mortals and also that when we let our weaknesses control us our downfall begins. This balance of being able to achieve the stature of heroism and bravery while still having humanity and weaknesses to counter is designed to be a good lesson for the masses as it teaches them that they too can achieve greatness but it also warns them of straying or letting their weakness overpower irrespective their need to do good and achieve greatness.

Furthermore, I think that the reason why these heroes were eventually eliminated was because they had served their purpose of teaching the people to lead honest lives and face their obstacles with courage and strength. Also, their demise was a lesson to the masses again to understand the fact that death is inevitable. The lesson was that people were supposed to understand and accept the fact that irrespective of how much greatness they achieved in life, it was all going to end someday, so they should not aim to do little but aim to do a lot and in a timely manner as death is not only inevitable but it is also unpredictable.
