However, one of the factors that have been discovered is that "there are important synergies among the MDGs- acceleration in one goal often speeds up progress in others" (UNDP 2010). Those who state that achieving the MDGs is impossible are ignoring the fact that some of the MGDs have been achieved, ahead of the projected 2015 guideline. While it seems highly improbable, if not impossible, for all MDGs to be completed by the 2015 guideline, the fact that some of them have been achieved proves that the MDGs goals can be achieved.
