[EXCERPT] . . . .

In addition to this, the south and the north poles are also causing global warming. It effects in such regions where permafrost contains great quantity of carbon that have iced up over time.

Disorder in these areas results in melting the permafrost and due to this, the pollutants are emitted in the environment (Archer, 2011).

Changes in the output of sun, earth's orbit and many other elements like emission of sulphur dioxide by volcanoes are also the causes of global warming.

Man made activities are not the only reason of spreading global warming. However, it should be realized that the effects of global warming can be minimized if human beings take some steps and spread awareness.

It is the responsibility of humankind to take action for not only restoring the normal balance of the atmosphere but also to be a less contributor to global warming. There are several ways to fulfill this responsibility. These include reducing the rate of emitting carbon in the air, taking care of the forests, getting rid of permafrost disorder etc. (Archer, 2011).

d be avoided. Besides this, minimum packaged products should be bought to avoid trash (Karling, 2011).

Recycling of goods should be encouraged and people should use recycle bins.

Other step through which human being can stop global warming is to bring some alternations in the household. It refers to using luoroscent bulbs or LED bulbs. Appropriate recycling is required for these bulbs. This is a good step because an individual bulb can save the greenhouse gases in bulk.

Dropping off such appliances that uses energy can also be a good step. Besides this, refills should be promoted.

Human beings can also reduce global warming by planting more trees, promoting gardening in the country, using public transportation and encouraging the use of bicycles and developing new technologies which do not contribute in spreading global warming.

From the above discussion it can be concluded that both man made and natural factors are the contributors of global warming but by taking adequate steps, human beings can minimize the effects of global warming (Karling, 2011).
