[EXCERPT] . . . .

Again, the threat of landform and plant survival may not be threatening after all. Lastly, the overall effect of global warming to the ecosystem is contrary to what was forecasted. The UN study stated that carbon dioxide emissions will only help the ecosystem achieve a better condition, and, in fact, human intervention is not needed to help the environment survive.

The arguments raised that oppose the issue that increased carbon dioxide emissions result to increased global warming overlooks the impact that global warming has over human beings. The plants are only part of the ecosystem, however, there are several elements also included in the environment, by which we humans are included. It is essential that people will know that an increase in global warming will result to profound harmful effects in human health. Therefore, though it might be true that an increase in carbon dioxide emissions benefit plants, human beings will continually suffer from the effects of global warming.

Another issue is the inconsistency in climate change predictions because of inaccurate computer models for these changes.

This fact is self-explanatory; the fact that these models are inaccurate does not clearly establish the fact whether predictions of "ever-changing" climates or climate change and global warming due to excessive carbon dioxide amounts are true or not. In understanding the oppositions given, the readers must take into consideration that what was being discussed in this paper are all theoretical facts and predictions according to previous studies and events. But certainly, studies showing the effect that carbon dioxide emissions had a profound effect on global

warming are well established. Had it not been the case, the U.S. government will not spend so much money on research and development of programs that address and aim to prevent further increase in global warming conditions. Also, it is important that precautionary measure be followed to decrease carbon dioxide emissions in the atmosphere. Adhering to these preventive measures will help the atmosphere and environment in preventing global warming occurrence at increasing rate.

In conclusion, this paper will provide some actions that the government has formulated to prevent the increase in global warming. These actions also include preventive measures that will help an individual contribute to the decrease of carbon dioxide emission in the atmosphere. The government has provided several programs that promotes energy efficiency and encourages the use of clean energy. Because most of the fossil fuels are used in transportation and industrial companies, the government aims to increase support in industrial companies and individuals because almost all the activities that we do uses fossil fuels to accomplish these activities.

Aside from the government programs, individuals can partake in the move for the prevention of global warming increase by doing simple activities without using fossil fuels and carbon dioxide-generating materials. These activities also adhere to the aim of using clean energy and energy efficiency. Clean energy can be promoted by using appliances and materials that do not use excessive fossil fuel or electricity because doing so will burn a lot of fuel that produces a lot of carbon dioxide. Replacing old appliances and eliminating materials that generate carbon dioxide excessively is one way to prevent global warming to increase.

Energy efficiency, meanwhile, is promoted by urging carmakers to provide consumers with cars or vehicles that uses fuels that do not generate carbon dioxide or any harmful gases. In the same manner, an individual can help decrease carbon dioxide emission by using energy-efficient appliances, materials that do not use too much electricity. Also, conservation of electricity can help decrease the hazard of carbon dioxide emission, by not using them in excess or turning an appliance off when not in use.
