This paper will highlight some of the main developmental strengths that I have in my life that has been helping me to go through personal development planning. I am aware that I have some weaknesses that are in a need to be handled and worked around so that I can communicate better and can be more successful in achieving and in completion of the personal development plan. One of the achievements that I have just achieved is the completion of my graduation and getting admission in Master's program immediately. Here I would like to highlight the weaknesses that I have. These include leadership skills, time management skills and communication skills. According to me and as far as I have realized these are the sets of weaknesses that are most important to be dealt with. It is known that without properly developed communication skills, achieving one's aim is a difficult task to accomplish, without the presence of proper leadership skills, there are lesser chances that an individual can get what is wanted and get his or her aims achieved.

find out the meaning of the real happening is often referred to as experiiental learning. The learning in this case is based on experiences gained. In these cases, the experiences can be the ones that were left upon or those that were staged (Lussier and Achua 2009, p. 52). There is no doubt about the fact that the best ways to do things is by learning and experiencing how they are actually done. Reflection on doing is one of the main sources of experiential learning. There is a great contrast of rote learning or didactic learning with experiential learning. It has been highlighted that the experiential learning is more based on the learning of the individual as compared to experiential education, which is based on the processes that take place between the student and teacher. An important example of experiential learning is going to the zoo; making observations on the way animals live in the surroundings and how an interaction between the animals and visitors take place (Grasseni 2009). The experiential learning is not based on any interactions between the teachers and students as how the student or an individual learns from direct exposure is the main aim of experience-based direct learning (Brezina 2008).

According to David Kolb, there are certain elements of experiential learning. It is important that the learner must be willing to learn from the experience gained. It is important that leaners must be able to reflect from the experiences. Thirdly, it is important that the learner must have all the analytical skills that can help in analyzing the experiences that are gained. It is important that the learner must have the decision-making as well as the problem solving skills so that ideas gained from learning of the new experiences can be used (Biga, and University of South Florida 2007, p. 98).

Reflective practice is to reflect on action so as refection can be presented on learning. Reflection practice has been defined as one of the best characteristics of professional practice. Reflective practice also means that proper attention is to be given to all the learned values and experiences and everyday actions as well as theories. It has been reported that reflective practice is an important tool in professional learning that is more practice based (Parcon 2006).

Reactions on Personal Development Planning

Personal Development planning is an important part of the life of an individual who wants to learn and seek. It is important that in order to achieve the main objectives of life, weaknesses that an individual has must be clear and strategies should be adopted that can help in reducing these weaknesses or to work with these weaknesses. One of the main facts that I can realize at this point is that there is a need to make better and greater changes in the personality so that the aims that I have in my life can be achieved in an easier manner. On the other hand, by the help of a detailed analysis, I have seen that the weaknesses that I have can be a great obstacle in the aims that I have in my life. Thereby there is a need that these weaknesses are removed and are changed to strengths (Kelly 2007).

Learning Agreement

Based on the reflective practice, I have learned that there are some changes that are in a need to be made in order to make sure that learning is better. For better reflective learning, it is important that there are some personality based areas that are better developed and well improved. One of the main facts that need to be highlighted here is that some of the main skills that are required in reflective learning include better analyzing skills, communication skills so that with the help of a constant and easy communication (Ellis 2009).

Here I would like to highlight some of the main development objectives that I have. For the time, it is important that I understand the weaknesses that I have and I make sure that these weaknesses are converted into my strengths. I am in my Masters level of education and I have lesser time in which I enter in practical life. With practical life, there are many responsibilities that are to be fulfilled in a more practical manner. In real life in order to achieve there are some skills in an individual that can help in fulfilling the responsibilities (Avis 2010). Thereby it is important that the three skills that are still weak in me are to be worked upon so that these can become the best skills that I have.

1. It is important that I understand my skill-based weaknesses in a proper manner.

2. For the development of the skills, it is important that I realize the importance of these skills in the real life.

3. The weakness that I have should be converted into strengths and these strengths should be able to help me in real life.

Some of the main weaknesses that are in a need to be converted into strengths include my communication skills, skills that are required in Computers and information technology as well as decision-making and problem solving skills and time management skills. Based on these four main weaknesses, there are a set of strategies that are to be adopted in order to make sure these weaknesses are dealt with.

1. For the development of better communication skills, I will try to make sure that I practice communication with my teachers, friends, peers, and colleagues. With the help of increased communication, one of the main targets that I will have is to make sure that proper understanding is achieved at both ends. I understand that if proper understanding is not achieved at both ends than communication cannot be considered as successful.

2. The second weakness on which I need to work includes IT skills. For this important skill, I will make sure that I use computers more and learn how to work on some of the most important software that can help me in my real life as well as my education.

3. The third important weakness that I would like to work on is the decision-making skills and problem solving skills. In these cases, I have seen that without these skills, important decisions cannot be easily taken in life. Real life means that there are more important roles to be played and these are only possible when an individual has the capacity to make decisions. The decision making and problem solving skills can be developed by making sure that whenever life presents an opportunity to make a decision, it should be made taking into account all consequences. For proper decision making it is important all problems are solved by taking proper decisions at the right time.

4. Time management skills are important. In the educational as well as job-based career, I will make sure that all assessments and assignments that are assigned to me are completed on time.

Some of the most important resources that can be used in order to deal with my weaknesses. One of the most important sources is the academic references as there are many authors who have argued the importance of three highlighted skills. On the other hand, academic sources have also highlighted the importance of these skills in real life. Second important source that I can use for my development includes my teachers and parents as well as my peers. Being in constant communication with friends, teachers, as well as peers can help in great… READ MORE
