Existence of God

God's existence is not provable, but one can just believe in it.

Believe of God's existence depends on understanding and source of information that individual has on this subject.

Believing and having faith in God can help people understand His existence as no one can prove it.

Faith is what it calls to believe and thus if one has faith in God's existence, then not need to prove it.

There are some proofs on God's existence.

External happenings can proof God's existence.

Human believe of how and why things happen proofs God's existence.

Faith dictates believe on the understanding of whether God exists or not, and whether one can prove this or not.

The Existence of God

Introduction

According to the Christian and Jewish religions, the existence of God is understood/believed to be a reality and there is no compromise about that. However, I tend to think that the reality of judgments that believers make about God's existence considerably vary and divide in to different classes and all depends on the understanding of an individual depending on the source of the information he/she has about the existence of God. The nature of human beings enables us to have the capacity to reason and make decisions on our own. Although this line of thinking can have influence from outside sources, the realities become evident through our senses, which are obvious. Others happen to be logically proven while others come out as amazing events. This is in a personal view the understanding and thinking I have about the existence of God. I also do not have any compromise to other religions, other than Jewish and I have no reservations whatsoever of the subject when I argue about the subject, as some of the arguments might be right and others wrong depending on the individual understanding about existence of God. A similar perspective is held by Remus as he argues in the article "Can the Existence of God be Proven?" that the authenticity of what people argue about existence of God will be right on a personal perspective, or even in reality, but dictated by the understanding of the subject by the audience. In addition, I tend to think that the reasons that many people bring forth as basic for failing to believe in the Divine one (God) are that there does not exists any proven observations, experiences or experiments that God exists. This can result from the belief that people have, as influenced by their understanding about God's existence. It is possible that people with a broad perspective on this subject as the book Oracle of Reason claims, can perhaps have a realistic understanding about God's existence (373). The believers and non-believers of a religion certainly have different position on this matter, regardless of whether true or not. For example, some Christians, can believe that God does not exists while on others they believe. To many others, it can be in intermediate positions when confronted with conflicting opinions or actions existing and the basic principles, however, some can have a probabilistic or compelling thinking about god's existence (Revelife, "The Existence of God Cannot Be Proven"). With these wide observations about the existence of God, I am tempted to wonder truly in what class does God's existence classify and thus it all comes down to that it is difficult to prove the existence of God. Thus, God's existence is not provable, but one can just believe in it.

Human beings can only believe in God's existence but cannot prove it

Arguing for this statement, both the probabilistic and logical arguments can bring a compromising situation on these conflicting issues. First, it is hard for logic to demonstrate the truth of by evidence or argument that God exists. All the same, the general question that bothers me and I like to ask my fellow believers is that about how a believer trusts and understands the existence of God. This is an inquiry that can have answers at both extremes, that is simple and complex answers as I have witnessed. Looking at the simplest approach, faith is the fundamental aspect that will constitute to accepting as true something that is invisible or something that is hard to prove its existence. This is to say that, the faith that a person has on something, in this perspective, God's existence, will have basis on the fact that there is no evidence of God's existence, if not so, then the faith factor here becomes meaningless. Therefore, arguing in this direction, I can deduce that the people who have belief in God's existence, are accepting that whatever others (sources of information) are saying about God's existence is true or in other words, whatever their instincts are telling them is that truly a Divine Being exists. This belief cuts across different religions that include the Judaism, Christianity, Islamic and even non-believers who know that God exists but the lack the belief that this invisible Being truly exists.

Contrary to the simple approach, this argument can prove a complex matter like for example when some argue that one is able to prove that God exists. The reason for this is simply God exists and this is a requirement for their firm opinion and acceptance of their religion, but it is only through believing in the invisible or in faith that they can ascertain truly there is God. I agree with this sediment but however, in others like the Muslim and Christian communities have the faith that there exists one God where in particular for Christians, there exist three Gods in one that is God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (the Holy Trinity). I also do not have questions on this but am worried about those who cannot figure out that one God can be three at the same time. To them, it is a confusing situation because their understanding is simply that these are three gods, not one as Trigilio and Brighenti ascertains in their claims and thus such situations call for believe and faith as this is what keeps believers going strong in their religion (4).

If someone is able to deduce that God exists, then it can only be possible to this person only through reasoning thus, in faith. For example, the early Romans and Greeks utilized their understanding to logically think and prove God's existence even before Jesus Christ was born. In addition to this, Saint Aquinas who existed in 1200s also used this same approach to bring to light that really God exists irrespective of the faith principals of an individual. These activities ascertain that faith is a crucial factor in believing that God exists. As Aquinas claimed, reason was his main principal that he used to make other people believe that God's existence is provable. This would be the initial stages but later, the person who gets involved in this, then has to have faith to believe in the Holy trinity (Trigilio, and Brighenti 4). It is hard for a one-time understanding of religion as it can be complex subject and this makes me understand better that knowing God is a learning process and I really like his sediments talking about God's existence.

According to Saint Aquinas, five methods could apply to enable any person to understand possibly the existence of God. First, it is through motion, a psychological approach where a potential effect of an individual or item becomes reality (Knight, "Whether God exists"). This is different from the obvious understanding of change of positions. For example, Pieta's sacred writings by Michelangelo did not become a reality up to the time when curving commenced, then the finished artistic work remained potential but later become an actual thing with the help of Michelangelo who moved it from its potential to actual status, otherwise without his influence, the carving would remain a just potential sculpture (Trigilio, and Brighenti 4). The understanding of this is through the sense that if anything has a start, then it must have potential in itself. In this point-of-view, I can truly, in a personal opinion acknowledge that anything potential is thus not the highest in authority, but anything that exists in fact or in reality, it is of the highest authority ranking. Looking on the view that God has a start; it shows then that there was sometimes when God never existed. After critically examining this statement, it brings out the question about the bringing of the potential status of God to Him being real. It can be confusing but all the same, Aquinas enables people to understand that the reason of something makes us understand that it existed and anything that exists has association with the existence of God and thus God exists (Brentano, and Kratntz 331).
