as a variation to the above pattern yo may present your oppositions argument in the paragraph following the introduction, refute it in the next paragraph, and then present a strong reason in favor of your proposition in the third paragraph.

in terms of writing pro and con argument papers you may first look at both sides of the issue fully. you may present both pros and cons, making sure that you stress that your position is the stronger of the two, to do this, you must give adequate evidence supporting your point so that, if there were a scale, it would tip on your favor.
