The international endeavors, in particular, have promoted economic development all over the world. On the other hand, the best achievements and progressions are clearly apparent in the Asian continent where more than half of the world's population lives. The poverty-stricken areas like China and India have grown economically and have experienced the swiftest advances in living standards in the history of the whole world. All these gains have become achievable due to the process of globalization and foreign aids that have played a major role in assisting the affected countries.

Asia has achieved the status of a food-sufficient continent with the help of American aid. The global aids have sharply declined the disease burdens in poverty-stricken countries. Globalization has promoted cooperation and aids have been highly successful in the eradication of smallpox, treatment of various diseases, extensive immunization, control of malaria etc.. Family planning programs funded by the international community have also decreased the population growth. It became possible due to the U.S. And Japanese aids that a number of countries in Northeast Asia such as Korea, Malaysia, and Thailand turned out to be manufacturing victors.

However, it is a pungent truth that no silver bullets are currently available for the eradication of global poverty in an instance. In spite of the fact that liberalization of the economic system, better control and governance and similar other interventions are facilitating the governments to reduce poverty; there is still a need of exclusive action packages for the reduction of poverty in today's globalized era. The world order also needs a monitoring system in the affected countries for proper management of the funds meant for poverty alleviation. Endeavors must be put to bring improvements. It is possible to lessen the impact of poverty and its different dimensions. Poverty reduction simply refers to the maintenance of the basic competence for action. In order to be reasonable, practical and to give attention to efforts, the poorest must be focused for the maintenance of their fundamental aptitude. Poverty reduction should be an encouraging factor for the poor to adapt to new ways of living and better monetary conditions.

Scholte's & Bisley's Approach to Globalization for Understanding World Order

As far as poverty is concerned, Scholte's definition of globalization proves that geographical boundaries have been respacialized. Poverty is currently considered as an international menace and the international responses have heightened to fight against it. According to Scholte, the personal space of an individual has shifted as more trans-planetary connections have increased. This is evident when poverty is considered. The globalization of almost everything has helped people and communities to know about the mutual problems. Regional and international communities have also respacialized and are able to communicate and exchange information more easily. Scholte asserts that the trans-planetary relations and communications have increased with globalization. It can be easily noted that governments are acting mutually for the eradication and alleviation of poverty on a global level. This is all because of globalization. The definition of Scholte has added the supra-territoriality concept in the previous definitions of globalization. He has also pointed out other characteristics of globalization i.e. internationalization, liberalization, universalization and westernization (Scholte 2005). According to Scholte, the four mentioned terms have narrow foci. He also considers them as having dangerous implications. To cut a long story short, supra-territoriality is an original contribution of Scholte for understanding the phenomenon of globalization. As far as poverty is concerned, the definition of globalization presented by Scholte helps us to understand globalization as the social life's respatialization that is founded on trans-planet and supra-territorial connections. As a respatialization of social life, the definition of Scholte has opened up doors of knowledge. To go over, th Scholte's notion of is distinctively unique as it is very different from the concepts of internationalization, liberalization, universalization and westernization (Scholte 2010).

As far as Bisley's definition is concerned, it provides a simple explanation of globalization trend. Bisley makes it crystal clear that globalization occurs in a series of events. This is obvious in the example of the global issue of poverty. When governments are unable to cope up with the problems of poverty, they look up for the international community to provide them with the required help and assistance, morally and monetarily. The international community then comes forward to assist and help the affected country. Thus, the phenomenon of globalization helps the developed and developing countries to work mutually, communicate and connect.

To conclude, both Scholte and Bisley have been able to explain globalization in their own unique ways.
