Secondly, I would recommend that, experts in the financial, procurement and contracting fields be used in the acquisition planning. This is because they have adverse knowledge in these areas and thus will always give better results.In conclusion, government contracting is a complex activity that should be handled by experts in order to ensure clear statement of all contract provisions. Therefore, both the contracting agent acting on behalf of the parliament and the contractor clearly understand their contractual obligations ad thus act accordingly to minimize disputes. However, in cases where a dispute arises, Federal Acquisition Regulation clauses clearly state the requirements to ensure meeting compliance with contractual actions and also in dispute resolution. Also, there are detailed procedures for dealing with the disputes in Chapter 19 of the Government Contract Guidebook.
