Similar to the famous of the Mona Lisa portrait, Garcia Marquez is also famous globally for his writing of "One Hundred Years of Solitude." (Bell-Villada, 2002 p 6). The writing has made him to earn international recognition. However, Garcia Marquez's style did not stick to a particular predetermined writing's style, rather, he tried to use different path in his book. His style in writing was reflected to the mood of the time. More importantly, Garcia Marquez responded to the way of life of the Caribbean life in his novel. In essence, Garcia Marquez used the theme reality for all his works. The style of the "One Hundred Years of Solitude" (Bell-Villada, 2002 p 6) was categorized as magic realism, which was being criticized for being exoticizing and dichotomizing. Typically, many authors widely acclaim the book "One Hundred Years of Solitude" (Bell-Villada, 2002 p 6) as masterpiece, which has been translated in 37 different languages. The author used the thematic and magical realism in the book, which many authors established as one of the important literary themes influenced by Modernism and literary movement.The Mona Lisa's aesthetics is similar to the themes the Garcia Marquez used for his works. The aesthetics reveals the special characteristics of Mona Lisa similar the way Garcia Marquez used themes in his works. The aesthetics of the Mona Lisa' portrait reveals her folded hand, face and neck glow in the light. The light revealed the underlying geometry of the portrait, which Leonardo referred as a female figure having a glorious visual impression. The Mona Lisa Painting consists of a half-body woman portrait, and many historians and scholars have put forwards many interpretations with regards to Mona Lisa portrait. Some historians believes that the portrait is Caterina Leonardo's mother. Other people believe that the portrait is Lisa del Giocondo, a Florentine merchant Francesco's wife. A suggestion also reveals that the painting is Leonardo's self-portrait because it has a resemblance of facial features of the artist. In August 2013, the forensic experts opened the tomb of Lisa del Giocondo and carried out her DNA's test in order to recreate the image of her face. No matter the identity of the sitter, Mona Lisa influence in the Renaissance and afterwards had been enormous. Typically, the Mona Lisa portrait has revolutionized the contemporary portrait painting. The painting has encouraged modern artists to carry out more studies on painting. Many young artists have adopted the Mona Lisa format, and has greatly influence the modern drawing. However, in 1911, a former employee stole the Mona Lisa from the Louvre Museum because he believed that the paint was the Italian property. Although, the thief was apprehended, however, the fame of the portrait increased after it was stolen in 1911.
