Catholic Church mean by the term?

Revelation has been spiritual phase; the phase has been a sort of mode of communication between the Jesus and God. It is important to understand that what ever was preached by Jesus was purely based upon his understanding and devotion towards God. The Catholic Church is of the belief that Jesus being the son of God has direct coordination with God, and in many of the cases, Jesus himself had enough divine knowledge to preach and teach religious teachings based on spiritualism and materialism. The Catholic Church is of the opinion that revelation is more spiritual, but there is another school of thoughts who think that correspondence between the Jesus and God was made through angels.

Jesus described himself as "a man who told you the truth which I heard from God" (John 8:40) but Jesus did not make any exclusive claim to "hearing" God's truth. Jesus said, "It is written in the (Hebrew) prophets, 'And they shall all be taught by God'(Isaiah 54:13). Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me" (John 6:45).

How is it evidenced in the world?

Taking in account the history of different religions including Islam, Buddhism and Zoroastrianism, we observe that in all these religions the correspondence between the God and respective prophets and missionaries was spiritual. It is furthermore, not worth comparing Christianity and other religions, as Catholic Church holds Jesus as Son of God, however in other religion there is no concept of direct descendent is evidenced through respective prophets and missionaries. Therefore, it can be concluded that the practice of revelation is not strange;

What role does the Bible play?

Bible, itself is the concrete evidence of the fact that God revealed to Jesus, all the teachings on different matters. The Catholic Church is of the opinion that Bible, is a Holy Book, and the contents of the book were certainly drafted and conveyed through revelation. Bible has played significant role in his regard, it is important to understand that Bible has always been referred by the Catholic Church on different issues related to the life, and the reading and understanding of Bible is encouraged and preferred by the Church, therefore this exemplifies the fact that Bible is revealed book, and incorporates different teachings based on spiritualism and ethical issues.

What does "historical context" have to do with it?

The historic context is of significance, and contributes greatly towards the understanding of religion, and further assist in solving of controversial practices and teachings. There exist an understanding among the religious authorities that God assisted and protected Jesus through his period of struggle and hardship. All the teachings and revelations bestowed upon Jesus also had situation based significance, during the period when Jesus suffered extreme hardships and opposition from Jews, it was God who revealed his blessings and special teachings to Jesus, so that the Jesus can pursue a definite and determine course of action to propagate the religion. The historic context and its validity is therefore of significance, however not all the revelations made had historic context; some of the revelations were aimed at improving the religious understanding of the people, and assist them in their spiritual practices.

According to Jesus, all people are taught the truth by God, and those who "hear" (pay attention to) and "learn from" (accept) the truth are attracted to the teachings of Jesus because "my (Jesus') teaching is not mine, but His who sent me; if any man's will is to do His will, he shall know whether the teaching is from God, or whether I am speaking on my own authority" (John 7:16-17). What about "tradition"? -- Inner and outer words. How anyone in particular describes it?

The concept of interpretation and differences has persisted in every religion. The revelations certainly had dual meaning, it certainly required deep understanding. The book of Bible and religious teachings were not merely revealed for the people of that particular time, therefore the teachings of Bible is equally applicable people from any place, and time. The religion has encouraged the involvement of human intellect so that the religious teachings can be perceived in appropriate manner. The Bible and the teachings of Jesus therefore have different interpretation and the interpretation changes with the change in time and place. Therefore, Bible and its teaching is broad scope that needs to be thoroughly evaluated by the learner. Certainly the Catholic Church authorities have encouraged the followers to make their personal interpretation from the Bible, as no one can be fluent enough to comprehend the statements of God. Religion is vast matter, and their teaching has in-depth scope, which can be understood and perceived, if it can be interpreted.

What about biblical inerrancy? In what way is the Bible inerrant?

Bible is certainly a Holy Book; therefore it is immature to term it inerrant. Bible has great significance, and has discussed different issues with reference to spiritualism and social code of conduct in appropriate and detailed manner. The teachings certainly are not inerrant, and have great applicability under any condition, these teachings are more generalized, and their essence can be achieved. Therefore terming the Holy Book inerrant is not appropriate, from God's side the book was bestowed in proper manner, but certainly it is presently equipped with many human made amendments, therefore, if it is true that followers have introduced certain changes, than it is not appropriate to make high expectations from the Book. The teachings of God can never be equivalent to teaching of human, even if both describe their similar opinion on any particular issue. God speaks and His statements are worth practicing and applicability irrespective of time domain.

What does Jesus mean by Kingdom of God?

The central message from Jesus is, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe in the gospel" (Mark 1:14).

One of Jesus' parables is known as the parable of the "sower." This parable is important for understanding all of his remaining parables. When the Jesus was asked by his disciples to explain the meaning of the parable of the sower, Jesus replied, "Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all of the parables?" (Mark 4:13).

When the disciples asked Jesus to explain the parable, Jesus replied that, "Hear then the (meaning of the) parable of the sower. When any one hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand (accept) it, the evil one comes and snatches away what is sown in his heart; this is what is sown along the path. As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures for awhile, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away. As for what is sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of the world and delight in riches choke the word and it proves unfruitful. As for what was sown on good soil, this is he who hears the word and understands it; he indeed bears fruit, and yields, in one case hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty." (Matthew 13:18-23).

The "seed" that is sown is called the "word of the kingdom" (Matthew), Jesus uses the term "word of God" to refer to the Commandment of God or God's laws. According to the parable of the sower, the word of God is sown in the heart. God's laws and commandments are known intuitively, or naturally, by everyone.

The phrase "kingdom of God" appeared more than fifty three times in the New Testament gospels, almost always on the lips of Jesus. The synonymous phrase, "kingdom of heaven," appeared more than thirty two times in the Gospel of Matthew. During his interactions and sessions with his ministry, he talked about the kingdom of God. The explanation about the kingdom is that, it is like mustard seed, a treasure, a merchant looking for pearls, and a king who gave a banquet (Matt 13:44-47; 22:2). Jesus also explained his purpose in light of the kingdom: "I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other cities also; for I was sent for this purpose" (Luke 4:43).
