Private military contractors do not operate under the same ethical framework or legal umbrella as the Army, and there is a lack of both accountability and transparency when private contractors are used. Leadership, structure, and organizational framework are cornerstones of professionalism. All professions represent themselves with organizations that serve as vehicles for professional honesty, professional progress, and ongoing professional leadership. One of the primary concerns for the Profession of Arms in the future will be the self-reflection on Army leadership. Because there has been an overemphasis on bureaucracy, there has been a corresponding lack of attention paid to such things as educational development and leadership. As a result, the concept of Army as career has dwindled in its efficacy, and there is a need to bolster the conscientious training of personnel. Bureaucracy is integral to the Army's structure, which is why it is important to provide institutional support for the development of futu

A shift toward the Profession of Arms model helps rejuvenate the Army's ethical commitments and solidifies the public trust. The Army is a profession because it trains experts in fields that are singularly important and unparalleled. Moreover, the Army is a profession because of the provision of necessary services by experts in their fields. The Army is a profession because it has earned and continues to earn the public trust via continual progress, improvement, and professional development. The Profession of Arms is therefore an emblem of integrity and honor.

Write a 2-3 page ARGUMENTATIVE ESSAY titled "Army as a Profession".
ARGUMENTATIVE Essay MUST be written in TIMES NEW ROMAN SIZE 12. Essay MUST include END NOTES (NOT FOOTNOTES) AT LEAST THREE BIBLIOGRAPHY SOURCES.
ESSAY MUST ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS: 1. Do you think the Army is a Profession? 2. What is the criteria and what does it mean to be a member of that profession?
INSTRUCTIONS: The paper must be between two to three pages of content (absent COVER PAGE, BIBLIOGRAPHY, and ENDNOTES), written in accordance with the Army writing style and guidance within ST22-2. An argumentative essay seeks to prove and illustrate an idea of theory. References should follow the guidance in Manual for *****s of Research Papers, Theses and Dissertation: Chicago Style for Students and Researchers, by ***** Turabian.
Begin with a clearly stated THESIS (the point you want to prove) in your introduction and use the body of your paper to construct your argument. Rationally build your case, leading to the conclusion, which should be consistent with your thesis. Avoid using information or comments not directly supporting your thesis. In general, devote one paragraph to one idea or concept. Arrange your sentences in logical order. Do your best to connect your paragraphs with transition sentences. It is usually best to start each paragraph with a strong topic sentence informing the reader what the paragraph contains so that it contributes to the thesis. Every direct quotation requires an ENDNOTE in order to properly identify and credit the source. Use direct quotations sparingly, generally only to support the central thesis; stringing together direct quotations is usually ineffective and distracts from the paper's purpose. A more effective technique is summarizing ideas and information within the paragraph and then inserting an ENDNOTE to direct the reader to the source.
