Your paper should be prepared in a manner that you would prepare a presentation to the top management of your organization. The project should be typed and formulated in a professional manner. There has been a rather broad based criticism of the ability of many students to communicate, especially in the written word. Whatever your current level of writing skills, this should present a good opportunity to increase your skills.

You must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) Style Manual (latest edition) to write your references.

This project should reflect a workable document. It is not a *****"term paper*****", but a workable document that could be used in a real life situation. As such, you can be creative in your presentation of the materials required to be cover in the project guidelines ( create a manual, include power point presentations, a combination of materials) whatever you see working to educate and introduce a new multidisciplinary manager to their new responsibilities. Since this is not a strict term paper, we will give a little more latitude with APA style with regard to the text, but you must adhere to APA style for references.

Required Format:

1. The paper must be typed, with margins 1*****" all around.

2. Length: minimum 10-12 pages of solid text, not including the reference section, appendices, footnotes, and other non-text material. Use the traditional size font *****"12*****". Please do not *****"blow-up*****" or *****"shrink*****" the text to fit the 12 page limit.

3. A reference section (not a bibliography) must be prepared in accordance with APA style.

4. Citations within the text must be prepared in accordance with APA style.

Referencing:

1. All information must be referenced to the source of information (such as books, journal articles, newspapers, etc.) Usually, each paragraph will contain at least one reference. You must use the APA style for referencing.

2. Analysis and commentary created by you will not require referencing since your are the source. However, you should make it clear that the analysis or commentary is your creation.

3. The referencing section should include only references for citations or quotations, which are actually made in the paper. (By contrast, a bibliography may contain a general reading list of related works which are not actually cited or quoted in the paper.)

4. In summary, all sources of information or analysis in your paper should be clearly identified and referenced to answer the questions: *****"Is it an outside source?*****" or *****"Is it a creation of yours?*****"
