[EXCERPT] . . . .
AgreementThe last time you dined out with your family, cite the example of the situation and the approach your family used to make a decision about 'where' you would all go to eat. You were all making an Evaluation argument. You were evaluating your dining options. What approach did you take?
There are a number of ways in which an evaluation is conducted. In the Power Point presentation three ideas were presented which are highlighting this to include: practicality, aesthetics and ethics. The combination of these factors is designed to influence the views of customers and stakeholders about a particular dinning establishment. ("Evaluation Arguments")
Practicality is when the individual will have favorable perceptions of a restaurant based upon their opinions and tastes. Aesthetics is concentrating on describing a location in positive light. However, more generalities are utilized to support these views. Whereas, ethical ideas are examining the opinions and attitudes based upon a firm's practices and how they are treating different stakeholders. ("Evaluation Arguments")
The last time that we dined out is one week ago when everyone went to Taco Bell. The decision was based upon practicality. In this particular case, everybody wanted Mexican food that was not considered to be too expensive. Part 2
The area that will be evaluated is customer service at electronics retailers. This was chosen based upon an experience that occurred at a particular location for a Best Buy. What happened is we went to the store to inquire about purchasing a Google Android smart phone. The problems that were encountered are that representatives for the company did not know the product. (Pendola) ("Radio Shack") ("Radio Shack Profits from Mobiles")
Moreover, they did not provide any kind of services or offer assistance to us when we first arrived. Instead, we had to wait for ten minutes and then ask for help. It at this point when they came to see us. At the same time, their knowledge was limited and they refused to set up the service or provide any additional assistance. What happened is they sold us the phone and let us leave the location. A while later, is when we encountered tremendous challenges from not understanding how to customize it or the best way to utilize the various applications. This set the stage for a bad experience that we are continuing to deal with. (Pendola) ("Radio Shack") ("Radio Shack Profits from Mobiles")
As a result, the criteria that is used to determine if the service is good or bad was to distinguish Best Buy from Radio Shack. This was achieved by visiting a Radio Shack store and seeing how they deal with customers in contrast with their main competitor. The claims that will be made are to focus on using practicality and ethics to determine the best location for making these kinds of purchases in the future. (Pendola) ("Radio Shack") ("Radio Shack Profits from Mobiles")
When we visited Radio Shack the sales staff was more supportive. This was obvious from the moment a customer walks in the location with someone greeting us and then asking if they need help. Once a smart phone was selected, is the point that the staff began discussing the features and answering our questions. In this particular situation, we wanted to know how to customize the phone and make it work more effectively. The salesperson had a detailed knowledge of the different… READ MORE
